Gospel Light Baptist Church will be resuming the “Good News Bible Club” back March 3rd at Yellow Branch Elementary School from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. We are thankful for this opportunity to work together with the public school in this after school program to teach them about Jesus. We are thankful for all the parents, teachers, staff, Gospel Light Volunteers, and kids that help make this ministry possible. With 45-60 children every Tuesday we have a great time together and build great relationships.  If you have a child that attends Yellow Branch Elementary we would love to have your child join us in this great after school program.

Gospel Light Baptist Church has Masters Clubs on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm during our Mid-week service for our pre-school to 6th grade. Separated into different age groups these young boys and girls are able to learn on their level how to serve the Master. They earn badges as they go and to wear on their vests or put in a book for display. Snack time each Wednesday night and fun Bible lessons and projects help these young ones enjoy the Masters Club. If you are in the area and have small children, we would love to have you join us at Gospel Light for this great class.  

Gospel Light will be having Volley ball night March 6th here at the church at 6:30 pm in the gym. Everyone is invited to come and have a great time of fellowship and enjoy a great game together. Invite some friends and family to come with you and have a great night.

Pastor Brian Warren will be preaching at New Haven Baptist Church in China Grove NC on Sunday morning March 8th at 11:00 for their Homecoming Service with lunch to follow. If you are in the area we would love for you to come and visit. 

Gospel Light will be hosting a “Baby Shower” for Malee Jean Eades on March 29th following the morning service. You presence would be greatly appreciated if you are to attend. Thank you to everyone in advance for your gifts and participation.   

During our March Missions Month we will be focusing on missions on Sunday Mornings. We will be having an International Supper on March 21st Saturday at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Make a dish from another country and bring it to share with others. We will have a missionary speaker that night as well. Come and enjoy a great night with us at our international supper. 

Missions Sunday will be March 22 Sunday Morning. We will have a missionary speaker that morning and missionary presentation that morning as well. Join us as we focus on reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Great Commisison.   

Gospel Light Baptist will be having a “Sonrise Service” on April 5th Easter morning at 6:30 am outside at the bottom of the parking area towards the lower end of the church. We will having singing and preaching outside followed by breakfast for everyone. We would love to have you come and join us for this special day and have breakfast that morning with Soem great fellowship. We will have normal Sunday Services that day with Sunday school at 10:00 am and preaching at 11:00 am. No evening service that night. 

Gospel Light will be hosting a week long revival meeting beginning on April 20th to April 24th beginning at 7:00 pm each night. Friday night is our youth and young adult night. Pastor Kenny Baldwin will be preaching Monday and Tuesday. Pastors Garrett Fitch will be preaching Thursday and Friday. Wednesday night to be announced soon. We would love to have you come and enjoy yourself each night to hear these  preachers that re sure to be a blessing to you. Invite a friend and some family. You never know what the Lord may do in their life.  

Gospel Light will be hosting a New Testament Bible Reading Marathon on April 18th Saturday at 6:00 am. Reading will begin around 6:15 am. We also be doing this Facebook live from our Facebook page. There is a link to our facebook page on our website. This will take 12-15 hours to accomplish. We have other churches and pastors joining us to help us finish this in one day. Refreshments will be provided for those that may need some in the fellowship hall. We will have a large giant print KJB on the pulpit for everyone to read from. We are looking forward to reading God’s word through before our revival meeting.  

Gospel Light will be having its VBS July 20th to July 24th. Mark the date. More details coming soon. Our theme this year is “Junk yard.”
