Baker Family: Director of Training for Macedonia World Baptist Missions

"Dr. Roger Baker pastored the Calvary Baptist Church of King, North Carolina for 32 years, from 1976 until his resignation in 2008.  During the course of his ministry there, God allowed him to start Calvary Baptist Bible College.  For the last seven years, Dr. Baker has served as pastor Emeritus of Calvary Baptist Church and College Administrator Calvary Baptist Bible College.

Dr. Roger Baker, along with his wife Diane, came to know Christ as his Savior at the age of twenty-two while living in Newport News, Virginia. He surrendered to preach the following year. He graduated from Piedmont Baptist College in 1978 with Bachelor of Theology degree. He received his Masters from Piedmont in 2000. Ambassador Baptist College awarded Pastor Baker an honorary Doctorate degree in May, 2004.

Dr. Baker has always had a heart for missions and missionaries.  Dr. Baker has always desired to be open to the doing whatever the Lord desires in his life.  Over the last few months, Dr. Baker has felt the Lord leading him to do something in missions.   Dr. Baker has made several trips to Europe and has a great desire to be a blessing and help to the missionaries located there.  As Dr. Baker prayed, he felt the Lord leading him to assist the missionaries there. Dr. & Mrs. Baker believe 100% that it is God’s will for their life to be the European Field Director for Macedonia World Baptist Missions, Inc.  Macedonia World Baptist Missions is thrilled to welcome a man of Dr. Baker’s wisdom and experience to serve with us and assist our missionaries in Europe and around the world."
